Here are some customer comments from rec.bicycle.marketplace...
After pining over a Ti frame and carbon fork for $350 for almost a year I ordered one from Chuck's Bikes. I, of course paid for shipping, and GST and PST (I live in Canada) when it arrived. When I unpacked it nice welds, nicely made. I removed his decals and put on my own that I had cut out, and then realized they had sent the wrong size! Sent them email and immediately got a response that it was their fault, sent it back, got the right size, didn't have to pay GST, PST on the "Warranty Replacement" plus in the box were some tubes, a floor pump, and a tire.
After some of the complaints I've heard here about net merchants I wasn't optimistic but these guys sure worked hard at making me a satisfied customer.

In my experience they have been very honest. last time when i placed an order on an item they actually sent an email to remind me that i might get it cheaper from lbs b/c of the shipping cost.

4 years ago when I came across his site he had some nice cranks for a dirt cheap price. I was a bit wary of sending a check made out to some other company (he wasnt taking cards at the time, and used another company name other than chucks bikes for payment). He said, well I will just send you the cranks and you write the check when you get them. Cranks arrived 4 days later, and I sent him his check.
Since then I have bought a few other items from him, and every transaction was perfect.
